How do you store the songs that you write or are in the process of writing? Does anyone else still jot lyrics on napkins or scrap paper? I have had to stop at intersections and pull over to write down lyrics….I have also lost some great lyrics forever because I just could not get them written down. Even though I get the lyrics down eventually in the computer, I still keep my rough drafts…..They seem to tell a lot about the creation of some of my songs and the emotions that I was feeling at the time. So, how are your songs stored?

I really enjoyed watching The Voice. Although my favorite was Dia, it was interesting watching her as well as the final 4 artists in competition and the result show. Great program.
“I told Stevie Nicks I wasn’t going to cry on national television, so I’m not going to cry,” Adam said, addressing Javier. “That’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done, other than have kids probably, and get married. I’m pretty speechless. You just sang with Stevie Nicks and that’s one of the most beautiful duets I’ve ever heard in my life… Good luck, man, and you deserve to win this competition.”
….and he did!

Number one hits include: Chasin’ that Neon Rainbow, Chattahoochee, Summertime Blues, Little Bitty, Drive, It’s Five O’clock Somewhere, and As She’s Walking Away. The songs are a fantastic mix of Alan Jackson’s best! Congratulations, Alan!

Wow, if you have been flollowing country lately, you probably enjoyed seeing the artists preform on several award shows! I thought Taylor Swift looked “more mature” with her straight hair, but I liked it. Blake and Miranda seemed very honored and appreciative of their awards. How about Jason Aldean singing with Kelly Clarkson, Uncle Cracker and Kid Rock, Zac Brown and Alan Jackson??? Country artists are teaming up lately and using other artists in their videos. Very interesting~

The Coffee House in Union Grove, Wisconsin is a great place to listen to music, visit, and have some great coffee and desserts. I actually played there a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. My songs were very well received! YEA! The crowd even joined in when asked to “help” me out~ A pleaser was “Salt”. This song deals with us being the salt of the Earth. We need God to shake some power down upon us and use us to help “season” people everywhere with God’s love. I was able to play my acoustic guitar as well as sing along with some of my tracks. They have a great sound set-up. Thanks UG!
